TO CONSIDER UNEMPLOYMENT BILL. By Telegraph—Press Associatio*x. WELLINGTON, July 22. Delegates from all industrial unions throughout New Zealand are being invited to meet in conference at Wellington on 20th July, to discuss the Governments unemployment relief proposals at present before the House, and to consider the recommendations of the Commission which recently held an inquiry into the Workers’ Compensation Act. The conference is being convened by the New Zealand Alliance of Labour, and is expected to be attended by about 100 delegates. It is expected to last about four days. Trade Unions, whether affiliated to the Alliance or not, are being invited.
