HARRIERS.

MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Timaru Harrier Management Committee was held for the purpose of discussing the arrangements for the forthcoming TemukaTimaru race. There were present— Messrs A. H. Norrie (president), C. W. Cameron, F. S. Cave, R. Lund, E. Hetherington, J. P. Koller and E. C. J. Foote (secretary). Officials for the race were appointed as follows:—Supervisor, Mr A. H. Norrie; starter, Mr E. D. Mcßae; timekeepers, Messrs J. Fraser, W. Young and J. O’Leary; number stewards, Messrs C. W. Cameron, J. Freeman, F. S. Cave and A. Foden; judges, the Revs. C. W. Duncumb and A. J. H. Dow, and Messrs A. H. Norrie, F. S. Cave, E. Firkin and R. Sinclair; selection and handicapping committee, Messrs A. D. Mckae, A. Foden, E. Hetherington and R. Lund; billeting committee, Messrs C. W. Cameron (convener), C. F. Berry, A. Harper, A. D. Evans, H. Cullimore and J. P. Koller; transport, Messrs R. Lund (convener), F. S. Cave# L. McKessar, J. Eaton and J. Chapman; social, Messrs E. Hetherington (convener), H. Preston, D. Mclnnes and S. Gibbs.

It was agreed that the race be a sealed handicap; that it start from the Temuka Post Office at 3 p.m., and finish at the northern end of Caroline Bay Band Rotunda. It was decided that one representative team be entered from all clubs in Timaru, these runners to be attired in green and black uniform. It was stated that probable entrants would be the Caversham and Leith Clubs (Dunedin), and the Christchurch Club.
