Subject to any necessary alteration, mails will close at the 'chief Post Office. Timaru. as under:— Registered letter mails close one hour, and newspapers and parcel mails close 45 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. Late fee letters for “Express Mails” will close 15 minutes after the closing cl the mails at the Chief Post Office, Timaru. Only parcels prepaid at “Express Transit Rate” are forwarded by express trains.
