OTAGO’S BIG DECLINE. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 29. The wool value figures for Otago reveal a decline of 50 per cent., compared with the previous season. A total of 76,568 bales were offered, as against 91,282 bales in the previous year, the total proceeds being £779,791, as against £1,843,591. The average price per lb. dropped from 15.4 d to 8.5 d.
