Talbot occupied the chair, and explained that it was desired to fittingly celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the school. ■ He thought that the first step to take would be to form an ex-Pupils Association, a small membership charge to be made. The money derived from the' subscriptions could be used in helping to defray expenses incurred. It was decided that an ex-Pupils Association be formed, and the membership fee was fixed at 2/6. The question of a suitable date was fully discussed, Labour Day, Easter, and Christmas being the three days favoured. On a vote, Christmas time was decided oh as the most suitable, the actual be decided on at a later date. A committee was appointed for each decade to go through the school rolls for the purpose of ascertaining the names of ex-pupils and tracing the whereabouts.
