MALTA ELECTION.
EFFECT OF ARCHBISHOP'S ORDER. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-Copyright.) (Received, May 2, 1.25 a.m.) MALTA, May 1. The archbishop's order read in all churches, announcing that whoever votes for Lord Strickland and his supporters commits mortal sin, caused a ferment with the Constitutional party, who are demanding the suspension of the elections.
