MAWSON EXPEDITION.

NEW ZEALANDERS RETURN. By Telegraph—Pres* Astoeiation. AUCKLAND, April 15. Tw;o New Zealanders who took part in tlqe British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic research expedition led by Sir Douglas Mawson, returned from Australia by the Ulimaroa. One, Mr R. A. Falla, who was attached to the party as ornithologist, is a member of the staff of the Auckland Training College; the other, Mr R. G. Simmers, is a member of the staff of the Government Meteorological Office in Wellington. The expedition was very successful, having achieved what it set out to do, said Mr Falla. “Sir Douglas Mawson, by his enthusiasm and energy, was an inspiration to everybody.”
