The Gale was notified yesterday as ben-' expected at Timaru to-day. from Oamaru. to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Kaponga, after loading at Dunedin yesterday, is expected at Timaru to-day, to load further for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth and Westport. The Karetu left Sydney on Monday evening for Bluff. Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, to discharge genera! merchandise. She is due at this port about April 16. The Holmdale is notified as an expected arrival for April 16. At Timaru she will load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Wingatui sailed from Auckland on April 5 for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. She is due here about April 13, to discharge and load for Wellington and Auckland. Overseas. With general American cargo for discharge at 'Timaru. the City of Lincoln is expected to-day from the north. If running to schedule, the vessel should proceed to Dunedin on the same day. The Ruapehu Is due at Timaru on April 17, to load meat and general cargo for London and Continental ports. She is to sail finally from New Zealand on April 29. The Cambridge sailed from Liverpool on March 29, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Port Chalmers. She is expected at Auckland on May 6. The Cumberland is to sail from Liverpool about June 7 for Auckland Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. Rain at Dunedin delayed discharging operations on the C. and D.
steamer Port Napier. Prom that port she goes to Bluff to commence home- , ward loading, and is due here about April 18. The master of the Tairoa, en route from Liverpool, has sent a radio message to the effect that the vessel will arrive at Auckland at noon on Friday. She has cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin, and is due here about April 23.
