SMALLPOX OUTBREAK
NARKUNDA’S PASSENGERS. (Unff-d Press Association--By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, March 17. The Narkunda’s passengers for this port will be released to-day or Tuesday, though the quarantine period will not end until the ship reaches Melbourne. The health of all aboard is reported to be satisfactory. ANOTHER VICTIM. NURSED ORIGINAL PATIENT. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copyright.) (Received March 17, 7.54 p.m.) PERTH, March 17. The death has occurred of Sister Barbara, a nursing nun. who contracted smallpox while attending to the late James Sharpe, the original smallpox patient at the quarantine station, who arrived by the Naldera.
