CONTEMPLATED WAGE CHANGE. (United Press Association- By niectrle Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 17. The State Government is said to be contemplating a change of the railway service, covering employees governed by Federal Arbitration Court awards, under which they are paid for a 48hour week, though they only work 44 hours. It is now proposed to pay them for the actual time worked, thereby saving £BOO,OOO annually.
