RACECOURSE SCANDAL.
ALLEGED RINGING-IN. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copyright.) SYYDNEY, March 15. Further startling developments in the alleged wrongful entry of the horse Powcull occurred when three more men were arrested on charges of conspiracy. The police claim to have established that Powcull is identical with the registered performer Violian.
[At the Rosebery pony races on February 22 Powcull won a race. In consequence of what they learned the police on March 7 arrested the owner and trainer, Arthur Hebden, on a charge of obtaining £lO from the Rosebery Racing Club by false pretences.]
