Mrs M. W. McKendry, Christchurch, is at the Grand for a holiday.
Miss Fulton, Dunedin, is the guest of Miss Ruth Hertslet, Waimate.
Mr and Mrs R. Hill motored from Christchurch for a short holiday.
Miss Eva Cox, Nile Street, left yesterday on a visit to Christchurch.
Mr and Mrs Max Levy motored to the Grand for a brief visit to Timaru.
Miss Irene Purney, Wellington, has arrived at the Grand to spend a few days.
Mr and Mrs Welester arrived at the Grand from Auckland for a short stay.
Mr and Mrs P. Laurie, Wai-iti Road, are spending the week-end in Christchurch.
Mr and Mrs G. L. Nelson left the Grand for Dunedin yesterday, after a week’s stay.
Miss Constance Grant, Ciandeboye, is the guest of Mrs C. C. Paterson, Wai-iti Road.
Airs H. A. Parkinson, who is staying at the Grand, will return north for the week-end.
MBr T. H. Keys, Sydney, expects to leave the Grand for the North Island to-day.
Air and Mrs T. A. AfacGibbon, Christchurch, are spending a holiday at the Grand.
Mrs J. R. Hart, Evans Street, and Mrs R. B. Hart, Rose will, left on Friday for Hanmer.
Mr and Mrs R. D. Alacdonald left the Grand for Balclutha after spending two weeks in Timaru.
Mr and Mrs C. S. Bruce, Douglas Street, will leave to-day to spend the week-end in Christchurch.
Mr and Airs E. C. Foote, Auckland, have arrived in Timaru, and will spend a few days at the Grand.
Miss Hill, Hamilton, who has been staying with Airs Gerald Martin, Te Weka Street, has left for Dunedin.
Mr and Mrs Clary, Wellington, who have been spending a few days at the Bungalow, returned north yesterday. Mrs A. Paykel, of Sydney, with her small daughter, is paying a short visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs T. Simon, Wai-iti Avenue.
Mr and Mrs J. A. Beanland, accompanied by Mr and Mrs W. H. Beanland, motored to the Grand for a short stay in Timaru.
Mrs Sinclair-Thomson, “The Crossing,’’ Geraldine, who was the guest of Mrs H. Sinclair-Thomson, Park Lane, has left to stay with Mrs R. Neill, “Barossa,” Mount Somers.
Airs Mitchell and Mrs S. 1. Fitch, Waimate, were the hostesses at a
very enjoyable five-table bridge-party this week in honour of Mrs R. G. Scott. The party was held at “Kenwyn,” the charming home of Mrs Mitchell, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion.
