ORPHANS TO BENEFIT. By Telegraph —Prseu* Association. WHANGAREI, March 14. The will of the late Mr J. J. Lindsart, of Kaikohe. provides the following legacies:—£looo for the purchase and upkeep of a public recreation ground at Kaikohe: £IOOO for the purchase of furnishings and equipment: £IGGO for upkeep of public library, Kaikohe: and £IOOO for Barnardo’s homes. London. The residue of the estate is to be divided in two equal parts, one to the Salvation Army, for the maintenance and benefit of orphan children under the control of the Army and the remaining half to be given in equal shares to the Anglican Bishop of Auckland. Catholic Bishop of Auckland, Methodise Home, the Mission Fund. Auckland, and the Presbyterian Social Service Association for the maintenance and benefit of orphan children.
