BANKER’S DEATH
FATALITY COINCIDES WITH INVESTIGATIONS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY. March 6. Mr Edgar Simpson, a well known ! city banker and manager of a branch of the Australian Bank of Commerce, was found drowned in the baths at Middle Harbour. The drowning was concurrent with investigations into certain alleged defalcations in the bank accounts.
