A conference of employers and employees to discuss the economic crisis is contemplated by the New South Wales Government. The Premier after a Cabinet meeting stated, “We unfortunately were unable to arrive at a common policy at the Premier’s Conference last week, and my Government is faced with the necessity of dealing with the situation separately. Wa, shall probably call a conference of trade union representatives and employers’ organisations, to enlist their co-operation.
