FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
PROGRESS OF NEW ZEALANDERS i United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) DELHI, February 23. On the strength of messages from the Burmah Oil Company, a small company had been waiting at Dundum Aerodrome all the afternoon for Flying Officios H. C. Piper and C. Kaye to arrive. Although late at Karachi, the news indicated that the aviators had been held up by fog at Hyderabad, Sind, after covering 100 miles of their journey. They had apparently given up hope of a spectacular dash for Australia. It seems that they had the narrowest of escapes in the forced landing at Jaslc, just hitting the beach instead of falling into the sea.
