RED TRADE UNIONS.

DIFFICULTIES OF RECENT CONGRESS. (Halted Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received August 25, 5.5 p.m.) MOSCOW, August 24. The newspaper “Pravada” states that the Trade Union Congress at Vladivostock, has been greatly hampered by the police, who held up the Australian delegates at Kobe, although their passports and visas were in good order. The Indian Government held up all the Communist leaders, who planned to attend the congress. Despite this, says “Pravada,” the Congress laid a strong foundation for increased activities by the Red Trade Unions in the countries bordering on the Pacific Ocean.
