INFANT IN SCRUB.
ANOTHER AUSTRALIAN MYSTERY (Uuitad Press Association—By KiactriJ Telegraph—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 4. A West Maitland message states that th© police are still investigating th© discovery of th© body of a female infant in the scrub. The body was decomposed, and had been attacked by ants. Signs of kicking on the earth indicated that the child was alive when left in the bush. The police, believing that th© mother might have become demented, are searching the locality.
