NOTES The Northumberland, in port since Thursday last, loading frozen meat, wool, and general cargo for Home ports, completed operations here yesterday, and sailed for Lyttelton. The Kaituna was also a departure last i veiling. She arrived on Sunday, and yesterday discharged coal for the Westport Coal Co. The Canadian Conqueror has now been put back till to-dav, when she should arrive from Lyttelton, to discharge and commence loading return cargo. i he Alexander is due here from Port Hardy to-day, with another cargo of sheep. On completion of discharge, she will return to Port Hardy for farther sheep loading. The Gale is expected at Timaru from Lyttelton to-day. From here she will go to Oamaru and Dunedin, and will return about Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Calm is notified for to-morrow, from Oamaru, to take genera] consignments for Wellington and Wanganui. She will probably will the same day. The Waipiata, from Auckland, "for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru, is due here on March 1. She will discharge cargo, and afterwards load for Wellington and Auckland. The Opilii is to load at Westport on February 28, for Timaru and Dunedin. She is expected at Timaru on March 3, to discharge coal. The Bimutaka, from London, via Wellington, Port Chalmers, and Lyttelton. and to discharge a laige amount of general cargo, is clue here about March 18. She proceeds thence to Now Plymouth and Oamaru, and returns about April 4, to load meat and genera) cargo for Home ports.
