Mr E. Macdonald left Timaru by yesterday’s express for the south. Mr G. KingT clerk in railway office at Timaru, has received notice of his transfer to Christchurch. The Hon. James Craigie, M.L.C., left Timaru by yesterday’s express tor the north. The Hon. J. A. Young (Minister of :Health) was a passenger ui Christchurch by yesterday’s expresf from Dunedin. * : Mr P. R. Talbot left Timaru for Christchurch yesterday to attend a further meeting of- the ' Wheat Pool Committee. Mr N. Patchett left Timaru yesterday for Wellington, where he lias accepted a position with the Treasury Department, Messrs J. Cleland'and J. Heii'derson left by yesterday’s second express for Christchurch mi business in connection with the Wheat Research Institute.
