COUNCILLORS’ DISSATISFACTION. THE ENGINEER’S POSITION.- • Following their long in-committee meeting on Monday „ night, when-the Timaru Borough Council sat for Jy hours, considering ' matters in ;coijtodfction with the Engineer’s Department, the Council continued their deliberations in this respect yesterday, between noon and one o’clock, and at 5.30 p.m., sitting until 7.45 p.m. On resuming in open Council, Councillor T. W. Satterthwaite proposed, and Councillor A. Kennedy seconded That Mr Fox (Borough Engineer) bo asked to hand in liis resignation, and that if he fails to do so, He be given three months’ notice, of the termination of. his agreement, with the Council.” , ; ;
