NOTES. The Waipiata arrived on Saturday morning to load for Wellington and Auckland. She sailed the same afternoon for these ports, via Lyttelton. The Breeze loaded general cargo for Wellington and Wanganui on Saturday, and sailed for Lyttelton. The Kamo arrived yesterday morning from Port Chalmers, to ship general cargo for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. She should sail to-day for Lyttelton. The Holmdale is due to-night from Oamaru, to lead Wellington and Wanganui general cargo. The Canopus, with a part cargo of Westport coa), is expected on Wednesday from the Coast. The Canadian Challenger, which

sailed from Halifax on February 27,

arrived at Auckland on April 6, and is scheduled to reach Timaru coi April 20, to discharge general Canadian cargo, and to load return wool and pelts for U.S.A., Canada, and the Continent.
