(From Our Own Correspondent.) PIPE BAND. Tho annual meeting of the Teinuka Pipe Band was held in the Hands' Hall, Pipe Sergeant 44. Harrison being in the chair. The fifteenth annual report expressed regret at the death of Mr Robert Macaulay, scar., who had been a trustee of tho hand since it came into existence in 1911. The financial statement showed that the Band’s account at the Post_ Office Savings Bank stood at £23 5s 2d, and there was a sum of £sl 5s 8d in tho Bank of Now Zealand, making a total of £74 10s lOd. The assets were set down at £153 5s 4d. The following office-bearers wore elected: —Trustees, Messrs T. Guniiioii, AV. F. Evans, and J. Macaulay. PipeMajor Cargo, Pipe-Sergeant Harrison, and .Drum-Major Edgar were re-elected, tho first-named also being re-elected secretary and treasurer. The executive committee was appointed as follows : —Pipe-Major Cargo, Pipe-Sergeant Harrison, Drum-Ser-geant H. Walker, Pipers Macdonald and G. Fletcher.

MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. The first nominations in connection with the municipal election were lodged with tim returning officer, Mr A. J. McPherson, yesterday. They were as follows: — Mayoralty.
