A message from Bucharest spates that King Fetrdinand is dying. He has taken no nourishment for 24 hours and has been unconscious all night. MYSTERY SURROUNDS ILLNESS. CORRESPONDENT ORDERED TO LEAVE. The mystery of King Ferdinand’s illness, which has been the subject alternatively of the gravest reports and sharpest denials lias had a curious sequel. Mr Gedge, tho “Daily Express” special correspondent in Bucharest has been ordered to leave Roumania within twenty-four hours, otherwise he will be forcibly escorted to the frontier by gendarmes which the Chief of Police, in communicating the deefsnon, described as a “very painful” process. Mr Gedge attempted to telegraph a statement to the Prime Minister, AJ. Averescu, who has assumed dictatorial powers to cope with possible disturbances, in case of King Ferdinand's death. It is admittedly true that the Royal Family spent a day at the King’s bedside.
