Music hall war on the British Broadcasting Company lias definitely started, one after another of the big stars declining contracts, chiefly owing to the antagonism ot managers of largo circuits who declare that broadcasting is seriously interfering with business. They admit they cannot be stopped, but candidly say they hope in the meantime to do an the harm possible. It is pointed out that tiio night’s broadcast is heard by 3.000,000 in England, rendering the turn stale after one performance.
