The May Daniels investigation is Virtually at a standstill, owing to Miss McCarthy’s refusal to go to Boulogne. It is pointed out there is nothing to prevent an examining magistrate coming to England, where he could take evidence conditionally, upon permission being granted by the English authorities. It is now generally conceded that Miss Daniels was murdered.
