PENALTY IMPOSED. By Tplptri hi>li —Props Association. WELLINGTON, January 21. Tlie maximum penalty, £lO, was imposed to-day on W. Corrona, hoot manufacturer, who admitted exposing unstamped footwear for sale. The soles were alleged to consist of a thin layer of leather and then cardboard.
