Spencer Stratton, riding a 3J h.p. motor cycle at the motordrome, smashed all records for the track, travelling 93 miles per hour. He covered each of the three laps in 14 secs, and two miles 256 yards in lmin. 36sec. The previous lap record was 14 2-ssec.
