Local supplies of butter show an increasing tendency, and this is considered likely to affect imports from New Zealand, 12,000 boxes of which were imported last week. It is reported that holders of imported butter are selling at a concession. It is also stated that contracts for supplies of New Zealand butter have been made for spread delivery up to March next.
