“CARE NOTHING FOR TITLE.”
ATTITUDE OF YOUTHFUL COUNTESS. By Cftb!«— Praia AnocUtlou —Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Asifeciatlon. LONDON, October 7. The youthful Countess of KinnoUll, who is a millionairess, under her mother’s will, intends to leave England. She said: “I shall live in England as little as possible. I care nothing about my title. I would be much happier without it. What a pity it is these honours cannot go to the many who esteem them and are anxious to possess them.” It is interesting to note that the £1,000,000 comes within two months of the bankruptcy order against the Earl on a moneylender’s petition. He attributed his failure to living beyond his means. The Earl, just previous to marriage, figured prominently in the press owing to his mother’s objection to his proposed marriage with a young widow. He was packed off to South Africa, and when be returned he married the present Countess. It was a case of love at first- sight. '
