The Miners' International Committee. in London, carried a resolution io intensify their efforts in each country to prevent coll entering Britain, and render every financial assistance to British miners. The attempt by the Government to increase working hours is regarded as a serious menace to minors and workers in all idustrics, which, if successful, would certainly affect the international struggle for shorter hours of labour. Tho official report does not refer to the general minm’. strike on the Continent envisaged by Mr Cook.
