The exploits of the notorious Parisian Landru are recalled by the pending . trial of a shoemaker named Johann Schwartz, of the town of Alezina, who is accused of murdering eleven women, seven of whom he is said to have married. , It is alleged that Schwartz disposed of tho bodies partly by burning, and partly by dismemberment. Then ho buried the remains in the garden.
