The Government has decided not to grant in luture applications for licenses to conduct rallies in which mineral specimens form the prizes, and to introduce legislation amending the Gaming'Act in that direction. " The edictis not to apply to cases in which licenses have already been provided, and the conditions ol the Act are complied with. r l be decision of the Government will not affect small art unions in which works of art, paintings, drawings and sculpture arc the prizes offered. °
