Briefs have been filed in a suit here against tlio. Ford Motor Company, which gave the concern’s net profits officially, as more than 526 million dollars/ between 1917 and 1924, with 1922 as the best year, the profit then being more than 115 million dollars. The Company’s balance sheet shows its thousand million dollars annual business has been carried on without tile use of borrowed money, save for a single mortgage item of 145,000 dollars.
The Ford family own all the shares of the company, namely 17,000. Last year these realised dividends of 547 dollars per share, as against 670 in 1922.
