AA'liat is claimed to be a move in a trade war is the action of the North Canterbury Timber Merchants’ Association in issuing a revised price list, which represents a- drop in rates of ■about 12. j . per cent, for the principal classes of timber used in house construction. It is claimed that the new rfdes will mean a reduction in the '-ost of a standard sized bungalow of about T 25.
