The weather was threatening, but c'eared as the day advanced. The track was holding, and there was a good attendance. The totalisntor put through £27.393 10s, making a total of £57,231 for the meeting, an increase of >£3252 over last year’s figures. The committee of the Ashburton Countv Racing Club lias again revised the dates for the winter meeting, which is now scheduled for May -0 and 21 Nominations wi’l close on Tuesday, May 11.
