PERSONAL.
Mr E. G. Kerr returned to Timaru from Christchurch yesterday. Mr T. W. Sattertliwaite left Timaru yesterday afternoon for Dunedin. Mr Bruce Gillies has just returned from a tour of t-lio Blenheim district. Mr M. F. Mazo and Mr C. (McPherson (Pleasant Point) went to Dunedin yesterday. Mr P. AVelsh (Christchurch) passed through Timaru yesterday, by motor for Dunedin. Mr W. M. Hamilton passed through Timaru by express from Christchurch yesterday, for Dunedin. Sir P. W. Rule was a passenger by the first express for Christchurch yesterday. The Hon. James Craigie M.L.C., left Timaru for Dunedin yesterday, and will remain there until after tho close of the Exhibition. Inspector W. B. McTllvcncy, Commissioner of Police for New Zealand, arrived ill 1 Timaru yesterday morning from the north, lie lelt by the a 1 tornoon express for Dunedin.
