IRISH AGREEMENT.

BITTER HOSTILITY OF REPUBLICANS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright; Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received Dec. 14, 7.35 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 13. The hostility of the Irish Republicans to the agreement has not abated. Mr De Valera, in a speech at Latterkenny, challenged the Free State Government to take a referendum on the London agreement. He declared he was certain that twenty-six counties would reject the agreement, fhe British had cancelled Clause V. because the Republican Party of Ireland was prepared to tear up the Treaty. He knew from the beginning Britain would cheat them, and that if the present boundary did not remain, they -would get a worse one.
