TENNIS.
COUNTRY MATCHTS. To encourage those clubs which are affiliated to the South Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association, but which do not take part in the competitions, it has been decided to send teams of players to Fairlie, Albury, and Pleasant Point on Anniversary Day, Wednesday, December 16th. Cars for FairJie will Icavo Hydro corner at 9 o’c'ock, for Albury at TO o’clock, and for Pleasant Point at 10 o’clock. The following are the teams:— For Fairlie, Bridges, Gibson. Revel!. McKenzie. Osmers, Harper, Milieu. Me dames Bridges, Minifie, Cotter, Gibson, Misses Collins,, Green, Y'oung, Lynch. For Albury.—Rollcston, Hamilton, AUportf Oxford, Gerard, Satterthwaitc. J. Mason; Mesdames Rollcston and Robertson, Misses Cuthhcrt, K. Dcnncliv, K. Costigan, E. Eaton.
