WOOL SALES.
PRICES AT WELLINGTON. : By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 12. The wool sales were resumed this morning. The market was slow. The offering Was 25,090 bales. There was an attendance of buyers from all sections of the trade. Bradford was active at ■ a price, ' and Continental buyers the same, America lifting superior crossbreds. The passed wool last night probably was 20 per cent.

Prices had to come near Bradford’s ideas, with the result that Bradford was able to do a fair amount of purchasing. ‘ ' The range of prices downwards, as compared woth the November sales, was;— Merino, ljd to 2d. Halfbreds, 2Jd to 31<L Fine erossbi'cds, 2d to 3d; mediums, 2d to 3d; coarse, IJd to 2d; low, Jd to IJd. Pieces, Id to 2d. Crutchings, Id. Locks, Id.
