WEMBLEY EXHIBITION.

THE KING'S SPEECH.

BROADCASTING TO DOMINIONS

Vy Cable—Press Association—Cop3 right. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association,

(Received May 8, 7.40 p.m.) LONDON, May 7

There is some conjecture whether the King’s Speech the opening ol the Empire Jkxhibition on Saturday will be wirelessly audible in the Dominions. Many believe it should be picked up if conditions are good, but the British Broadcasting Company is not making a special effort to ensure distant reception. The speech will be relayed from Chelmsford on I.OUO metres, and other stations ranging from 300 to 500 metres. Broadcasting will begin at eleven in the morning, English summer time, and will last at least ninety minutes.
