The president reported, that during the vear the club had taken up a now branch of activity in miniature rifle shooting, and this had met with ready and consistent support from the members. Staniland referred- to the great amount ;of work done' for the dub by the retiring secretary, ‘ Mr L: • Liddle, and .’a hearty vote of ' thanks was carried by acclamation. . Public Hall was held on Monday evening,;: when Mr C. Prestidg© presided over a fair attendance. PUBLIC HALL. The balance sheet showed a credit, balance of £ll 9s sd, the principal receipts being £l3 11s 8d raised by the Ladies’ Committee and £l7 for the hire of the hall. ' On the expenditure side the principal items were dno to the pavment -for. an . iiu.ppo.yed, stage , and curtains within’,the ‘hall, :and‘ for, an improved .approach . and. entrance to the hall property.* On■'the motion of the chairman,-.the report and balance, Rlieet-were,: adopted..
