Wilkinson, is the latest confidence gang victim; A stranger, claiming -to be an eXArmy captain, confided that lie was in a position to obtain , exclusive Stock! Exchange information, pa which a /fortune, could be made. Wilkinson later met the “captain” and two others. A partnership was discussed. Wilkinson handed over £SOOO, his Share of the venture. Schemer failed to keep the next appointment. Scotland Yard on Wilkinson’s description, identified two of the party rs notorious swindlers.
