An official communique stales thau military operations in Morocco are hampered by bad weather and floods which damaged the military camps.
Working parties are busy maintaining the lines of communication. General Priino do Rivera is unable to get in touch with the Tetuan port of Ceuta, which is cut off. Wireless calls for assistance liavo been received from shipping.
Quantities of supplies were washed away at Melilla, and several /sailing vessels- sunk outside the port. General Federico Berenguer was wounded the moment ho took over command from General Serrano. One Lieut-Colonel was killed and two wounded, in addition to a number cf officers and soldiers, mostly of the native legion.' >
