Smart, director ot the Technical School, wrote for a donation to tho classes. —The matter was held ever until after the sports meeting. G. • Smith's tender lor the sweets and ice cream stall was accepted. Mr G, Bryant’,s tender for a luncheon booth was accepted. It was agreed to accept the services of the Temuka Pipe Band. 'The motion passed at the- last mooting fixing tho price of admission to the sports was rescinded, and a motion that Is Hd be charged was carried. Complete arrangements for the Cinderella ball on Boxing night were made, and the meeting terminated.
.METHODIST GARDEN PARTY. Tho Tcmufe Methodist annual garden partv will be held at Dinting House (Mr E. Brown having again kindly placed his beautiful grounds at the disposal of the church lor the occasion') on r l ifursday next, jhe committees have arranged a very attractive programme, and the Lyric orchestra v.-id bo in attendance. This garden pariv has been held annually tor about thirty years, and one ol the most pleasant features or the function is the gathering together of lriends ot many years standing and the creation of liew friends to meet in the many years to come.
