SABBATH BREAKING.
PROTEST BY CHRISTCHURCH MINISTERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. The Council of Christian Congregations to-night passed the following resolution:—“This Council has noted with great regret that those respon sible for the tour, and the Christchurch arrangements of the Railway Commissioners, should so far have disregarded the generally recognised sanctity of the. Lord’s Day as to have chosen the morning of that day as the time for receiving a deputation from Itlie Christchurch Chamber of Commerce.’-’- . The Council also passed a motion censuring the action of the Government in sanctioning increased' racing icrmits.
