" At a sale of purebred bulls in Christchurch/ on Saturday last, held by H. Matson and Co., there were some South Canterbury purchasers. Mr Murray bought a yearling Shorthorn bull for 16gns; Mr W. Beil (Waimate) bought one for 15gns; and Mr Tasman Smith (Albury) secured one at 26gns.
