Tim Hon. G. J. Anderson (Minister of Labour and Marine.) left "Wellington last night, and will arrive in Timaru bv motor car from Christchurch this afternoon. This evening he will cinder with members of the South Cartel bury Aeclinyitisation Society in regard to the netting of salmon in rivers and tomorrow the Minister will attend a
special meeting of the Ti aru Harbour Board to discuss the projected harbour improvement schemes. Yesterday His Worship the Mayor of Timaru received the following telegram from the Minister .. —“I will reach Timaru by motor to-morrow (Tuesday) afternoon, and will be stopping at the Hydro Giafid. 1 will bt leaving for Dunedin by express on Wednesday afternoon. I hope to see you during mv stay, and shall be pleased to attend to any public matters requiring my attention.
