WEDDINGS.

FINDLAY—WILLS. A pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. Baxter in St Mary's Church on November sth, when Edith Wills, onlv daughter of Mr and Mrs Wills, Alburv, was joined in matrimony to Wallace Findlay, youngest son of Miami Mrs Findlay, of Gore. Ihe bnde, who was given 'away by her father, looked charming in a one-piece frock of ivorv Indian silk, the skirt being liepvily done in hand embrodery and caught at the side with a cluster of pearls. A Bpi'civ of orange blossom caught up the long"veil of silk georgette, and she carried a bouquet of arum lilies and maiden hair fern. The bridesmaid (Miss Edith McCullough) wore a becoming frock of shell pink crepe de chine, worked with gold beads. Mr George Wills, brother of the bride carried out the duties of best man. The wedding breakfast was served at the Tyrol, tea rooms, when the usual toasts were honoured. Latei the happy couple Dunedin, amid showers of confetti and best wishes for the future.

A quiet but pretty wedding took place ,at the Rank Street Methodist I Church, on November 5, the contracting parties being, Ruth, youngest j daughter of Mrs and the lat© Mi J. Luck Evans Street, and Herbert, eldest i son of Mr and Mrs W r . Morgan, White ' Street. The Rev. A. C. La wry officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of tier brother, looked i charming in a frock of ivory crepe de chine with radium J,nee sleeves to the wrists. Her hand embroidered ved was j field in place with a wreath of orange blossom. A bouquet of hot house flowers and arum lilies completed a. charming toilet. The bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Morgan, wore a pretty frock of mauve marocain and a black picture hat, uith p a wreath of flowers. Her bouquet was of mauve and pink sweet peas. Mrs and bliss Elsie Abbott, “Aralucn,” Temuka, went to Clinstehurch for Carnival week. • A delightful cabaret was held in the “Savov’ ; Waimate, on Thursday last. Mr \v\ Davis’s orchestra supplied excellent' music, and extras were played by Misses M. Brownlie, D. bmitli, M. Mclllriek, and blr Neill Hodges. Mr Jack Hewson was M.C.
