IMPERIAL POLICY.
AND AMBASSADORS
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSN,—COPYRIGHT New York, May 26. The “New York Times,” discussing, editorially, tlie British Imperial policy, points out that with Canada’s request for a Minister at Wnsliihgton, voices were heard from Australia and New Zealand making the same request. Tlie “Times” asks what would happen to foreign policy, if tlie Dominions progressing logically, were to appoint Ministers not only to the United States but to oilier countries.
It couimenLs upon Mr W. M. Hughes’s suggestion that belter communications would solve the problem, and intimates that this is a questionable solution. Tlie “Times” concludes: “The coming Imperial Conference will find the question of separate representation one of the most difficult problems.”— A. and N.Z. Cable.
